Leaves over limbs we stretch for sunrise hymns an inch outside the fingertip
Reach to let go
Clutch to release
Bear hug in forest rumble tumble down hills shifted
To align with signs drizzled in ripened vine
A stray dog left behind
Free to ramble and roam
Prints upon new sidewalks
Eventually erode
Like structure
& home.
