If you’re a creator, sometimes you get stuck on certain ideas of what you are supposed to do.
How you should present yourself to the world.
These concepts can hinder creativity. Often, they block you completely. You sit there stuck. A part of you wants to let loose, while the other surface level craves acceptance, appreciation, rewards of some sort.
Deep below these limitations there is a flow. Natural and untouched by society and the masses.
I’ve found this to be essential in my own creations.
Like this post, for example. I opened this page and felt a heavy weight of expectation. What was I supposed to write about? How was the writing supposed to be prepared. What was the goal? How did I want it to be perceived.. what did I want the reader to feel or think?
After a few minutes stewing in that monkey mind jibber-jabber I stepped away. I filled my coffee mug and came back with a notion. I was going to just let it go. Let it rip. Follow along whatever the inner flow wanted to write. See where it goes and that will be it.
I clicked on photos and scrolled around in my documents for something that stood out. An image that grabbed me right away. The one you see above is that photo. Why? I’m not entirely sure. That is part of the fun. Tapping in to some…
