for summer scents overtake common sense lit like incense cone
shivering up into naked ceilings aghast by the popular tones
emanating from each chimney
a thick soot is afoot.
For the headline readers, a spoke on wheel would encourage a word
that is wordless, a scene beamed in stream of consciousness style
awhile, it may take to bake
your visionary tale of friend, foe, mystery and woe
